THE GALLERY
The Gallery at Boardinghouse is an exhibition space dedicated to bold voices.
Our curatorial focus centers on work that responds to the political, economic, and social issues of our time, created by women and femmes, queer and BIPOC artists, and our allies.

Our first exhibition, Art Lives Here, will remain on view through the end of 2026. During this inaugural show, we’ll be figuring out our systems, establishing regular gallery hours, and getting to know our audience.
Explore Art Lives Here.
Beginning in January 2027, Boardinghouse Arts will present rotating exhibitions offered by invitation. Exhibitions will typically run for six to eight weeks. Artists receive a stipend to exhibit their work as well as extensive administrative support.
Artwork may be offered for sale at the artist’s discretion, with Boardinghouse Arts retaining a 30% commission on sales. Each exhibition will include an opening reception and artist talk, with additional programming along the way.
-
The gallery is also a space for performances - from small acoustic music performances and film screenings to dance and other live work. Performances can take place alongside an exhibition as long as they are compatible with the artwork on view.
Some performances are presented by invitation from Boardinghouse Arts, and we also welcome proposals from the public.
